Introduction

Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing the way data is produced, managed, analyzed, and consumed. With the rise of foundation models, data agents, scientific AI, and data-intensive intelligent applications, modern data systems are expected to support not only large-scale storage and computation, but also semantic understanding, autonomous decision-making, trustworthy governance, and efficient interaction with distributed computing infrastructures. These emerging requirements bring new research challenges to parallel and distributed computing, including scalable data preparation for AI, intelligent orchestration of heterogeneous data pipelines, adaptive data services across cloud-edge environments, and high-performance management of vector, multimodal, and scientific data. This track invites original research that explores the next generation of AI-driven and AI-ready data management technologies. We welcome contributions on novel models, algorithms, systems, platforms, and applications that connect intelligent data management with distributed computing, high-performance analytics, and emerging AI workloads.
