Medical-engineering integration is reshaping the way healthcare systems are designed, deployed, and delivered. From wearable sensing and medical imaging to clinical decision support, robotic intervention, and precision medicine, modern healthcare applications are becoming increasingly data-intensive, computation-intensive, and system-intensive. These applications require not only advanced medical knowledge and biomedical devices, but also powerful computing technologies that can process heterogeneous data, coordinate distributed resources, and support reliable decision-making under strict latency, privacy, and safety constraints.
In the context of PDCAT 2026, this special track aims to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners working at the intersection of parallel and distributed computing, artificial intelligence, biomedical engineering, and healthcare systems. We welcome original research on computing models, algorithms, architectures, platforms, and applications that support next-generation medical-engineering integration. Particular emphasis is placed on scalable medical data processing, intelligent resource coordination, edge-cloud collaborative healthcare, privacy-preserving medical intelligence, and high-performance biomedical computing.
We are pleased to announce the important dates for PDCAT 2026.
Please mark your calendars!
All deadlines are based on Anywhere on Earth (AoE), at midnight on the specified date.
